Fun fact: It is impossible to drop a bomb while inverted in war thunder. One of the infamous toss bombing techniques that you do overhead and slightly inverted therefore wouldn't work, and is also why you're likely to stuff it up when doing a direct 90 degree dive on joystick (mouse aim auto-levels for you).
Once you are nearly over the target, flip your plane upside down and then pull your nose 'up' towards the ground. This is much faster than nosing down in level flight and you don't lose as much energy in the transition and are more on target. While you're doing this, zero out your throttle and hit the dive brakes.
