Put a down payment on a 2022 ktm690 smcr was wondering any issues you guys had and anything I should keep any eye out for I'm pretty new to the ktm bike scene so far have have owned Japanese bikes this will be my first euro bike I'm super excited don't mind renching if I need to!

I love my 690 SMC R, but . . . I really do love the bike, however, WTF with the dash. I've also had a bunch of KTM dirtbikes and I was fine with the minimalistic dash off-road, however, no excuse for the dash on the supermoto. Seriously KTM, pull the dash of the duke 790/890 and slap it on. It would be really nice to have a tac, temp, and gear

If anyone has experience with either the KTM 690 SMC R or the DRZ400sm, any input would be appreciated. I live on the coast but have twisty roads less than an hour away. I really just want to try out the supermoto world, but I'm reluctant to sell my MT09 and other bikes to get a 690 SMC R unless the 690 is just hands down the better option.
