They can be charged at rates up to 10C, allowing them to charge much faster than lipos. The maximum output voltage for lifepo4 batteries is 4.2V per cell compared with 4.2-4.35V per cell for lipos - this makes them more reliable in terms of power delivery over longer periods of time. The table excludes specialty batteries that are designed to charge outside these parameters. Charge at 0.3C or lessbelow freezing. Lower V-threshold by 3mV/°C when hot. Charge at 0.1C between – 18°C and 0°C. Charge at 0.3C between 0°C and 5°C. Charge acceptance at 45°C is 70%. Charge acceptance at 60°C is 45%.
lipo is roughly 135wh a kg vs 120 for lipo4 but less protection means less required weight. Much easier to charge, lifepo4 is happy to float at 13.8v forever and gets 80% ish charged you can use a variable supply to get that to 100% it's not the nicest thing to do but works well (makes a great cheap UPS/100% silent supply).
LiPo Batteries. The lithium-polymer battery (Li-Poly, LiPo, LIP) belongs to the group of lithium-based rechargeable batteries. It is the second generation of this type of battery, which succeeded the batteries that were made using lithium-ion technology. These batteries work on the principle of intercalation and de-intercalation of lithium ions.

LiPos made for cellphones usually have a max discharge rating in the range of 1C - 2C. LiPos made for RC typically range between 10C and 60C continuous rating. Li-Ions made for powertool manufacturers have much higher C rating than 2C. When in doubt check the specs and datasheet for the specific battery model. UEuTKt0. 503 252 985 473 102 229 904 406
